Under the direction of Najla, the Baharat Belly Dance Ensemble features both professional and student performers.  The word baharat refers to a blend of Arabic spices, and the name suits the mixture of sweetness and sass in all the dancers. 

The ladies of Baharat can be found performing around Austin, and are the featured performers at a monthly showcase held at Hot Mama's Cafe in East Austin.
